Sally Brick - Finance
Sally has been married to Kelvin for 25 years and has one son.
As well as her deep passion for Jesus, she is passionate about Formula One and Bristol Rovers.
She is a Civil Engineering Technician and dealt with Management Accounts.
Helen Green - Treasurer (finance), Property
Helen has lived in Midsomer Norton for most of her life and the Methodist Church has always been an important part of her Christian life.
She is a practical hands on person, particularly in one of her present roles as Catering Manager.
Lydia Hinton - Worship & Prayer
Married with three children & two grandsons, Lydia is originally from Worthing.
Lydia worked as a Nursery/Infant teacher before becoming a Church Administrator for 12 years at the Anglican Church she attended in Bath.
She's now 'retired' in Midsomer Norton!
Simon Knight - Eco Church
Simon is originally from Frome.
He has a long and enjoyable career in the horticultural industry.
He lives in Chilcompton, is married to Judith, and has two grown up children.
He feels that God is now calling him to both deepen, and share his Christian faith in a leadership role.
One of our team of organists, he is also a keen reader, gardener and aspiring jazz musician!
Hanna Bevan - Outreach, Rep to Circuit Meeting
Hanna is married with two children and originally from Cornwall.
She is now a Methodist Lay Worker in thee circuit and has a background in working with Children and Young People.
Hanna enjoys singing in worship and reading books.
John Mander - Without Portfolio
John is originally from South London, having worked in the printing industry for all of his working life.
He comes from the United Reformed Church in which he is an ordained elder. He has been married to Hilary for over 50 years, and they have three adult offspring: Andrew, Robert and Alison. Alison and husband James live locally and have two children: Matthew and Grace, who can usually be found making noises in and around the church on Sunday mornings.
Apart from church involvement, John is President of Wansdyke District Scout Council, also its District Badge Secretary. He is currently secretary of the Rotary Club of Mendip.
A busy person, but never too busy to find time for God’s work.
Rev Christine Coram - Minister
Christine was born and bred in Bournemouth and whilst working in childcare and serving as a lay preacher, she felt the call to ordained ministry and undertook part-time training at Sarum College in Salisbury from 2006-2009. She and her husband then moved to Southampton where he sadly died in 2018. In 2022 Christine became a Somerset resident taking pastoral charge of Midsomer Norton and Farrington Gurney Methodist Churches, adding Paulton Methodist Church to her portfolio the following year.
